  • Publication number: 20250037311
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for calibrating an on-board camera of a vehicle by detecting one or both of a lead vehicle geometry and a road lane width. In one example, a method includes identifying a known vehicle geometry of a lead vehicle; estimating a distance to the lead vehicle based on matching the known vehicle geometry to an image of the known vehicle geometry from the camera; and updating a calibration of the camera based on the estimated distance.

  • Patent number: 11847873
Abstract: Systems and methods for predictively detecting vehicle failure based on diagnostic trouble codes are provided. In one example, a method is provided, comprising determining a probability of failure of a vehicle based on one or more diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs); and indicating to an operator of the vehicle that failure is likely in response to the probability exceeding a threshold.

  • Patent number: 11618412
Abstract: Systems and methods that compare a validation image to one or more confirmation data sets, wherein each of the one or more confirmation sets is formed based on matching a document image and a confirmation image. In at least one example, one or more vehicle operability actions may be performed responsive to the validation image matching a confirmation data set of the one or more confirmation data sets. A refusal action may further be performed responsive to the validation image not matching the confirmation data, for example.

  • Publication number: 20220135052
Abstract: Mechanisms, methods, and systems are provided for establishing safe-driving quotients. Output of one or more sensors oriented toward an exterior of a vehicle (such as front-facing cameras) may be used to detect events. Output of one or more sensors oriented toward an interior of the vehicle (such as driver-facing cameras) may be captured, then analyzed to determine behavioral results corresponding with the events. Safe-driving quotients may then be established based on a ratio of the behavioral results to the events.

  • Publication number: 20190213605
Abstract: Systems and methods are proposed for determining a probability of a warranty claim being fraudulent. Methods may include determining the probability based on a predictive fraud detection model and one or more parameters received from the vehicle. The probability of fraud may be indicated to an operator. Systems include diagnostic devices configured to employ the methods disclosed.
