  • Patent number: 11662649
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure include an apparatus with a camera. A shutter is positioned horizontally in front of the lens of the camera. The shutter is configured to move in front of a lens of the camera and is further configured to move orthogonally to the horizontal axis so as to at least partially obscure the lens of first camera in a closed shutter position. The apparatus further includes a motor positioned horizontally behind the front of the lens of the camera. The motor is configured to move the shutter orthogonally to the horizontal axis between the closed shutter position and an open shutter position.

  • Patent number: 9458002
Abstract: A bottle cap adapter for supplying liquids, particularly viscous liquids, comprising: a body part; and a vent tube comprising a first opening and a second opening, the first opening being configured to be put inside a bottle in the vicinity of the bottom of the bottle, wherein the body part further comprises a first surface and a second surface, the first surface being perpendicular to the vent tube and the second surface being parallel to or tilted to the first surface, e.g., by an angle of 0° to 40°, wherein the body part further comprises a channel from the first surface to the second surface, wherein at least one part of the channel comprises a connector extending to the second surface, the connector being complementary to a connector of the bottle, wherein the body part is further configured to be coupled to a bottle supply system, and wherein the vent tube is at least partially located in the channel of the body part.

  • Patent number: 9200243
Abstract: Apparatus and process for removing and/or converting contaminants in water-miscible organic solvent mixtures by surface interaction effects to forms less objectionable with lesser metabolic impacts for humans. The process both changes distillation entrapped contaminant compounds in-situ and effects removal of the compounds and their reaction products. In what follows, water-miscible-organic-solvent and water mixtures can be substituted for alcohols. The alcohol to be treated is placed in a ventilated vessel leaving room for head space. Contaminant free air or a specific organic-contaminant-free gas is injected into or otherwise placed in contact with the alcohol. A vacuum is pulled within the vessel, which draws the gas through the alcohol into the head space creating gas bubbles. Energy within a specified range of frequencies is imparted to the fluid causing cavitation and reaction.

  • Patent number: 6373690
Abstract: An apparatus for mounting a panel to a chassis of a computer. The apparatus includes a release member movably mounted on a top surface of the chassis and a flange fixedly mounted to a base portion of the chassis. The release member is movable between a static position and a release position. A panel is pivotally attached adjacent to a base portion of the chassis. The panel is movable between a closed position and an open position. A resilient retention member is attached to the panel. The retention member is engaged with the flange when the panel is in the closed position. The release member resiliently deflects the retention member from engagement with the flange when the release member is moved from the static position toward the release position to allow the panel to be moved from the closed position to the open position. The panel can be accurately and consistently aligned and attached to the chassis of the computer system after each removal.
