  • Publication number: 20160050264
Abstract: A method and system architecture for automation and alarm systems is provided. The system architecture is hierarchically organized, allowing devices to process system data differently at different levels of the hierarchy. Moreover, different devices at the same level of the hierarchy may employ different or custom configurations, allowing for context-dependent algorithms to be deployed in the system. The configuration of each device in the system is defined by a set of rules, filters, thresholds, and other criteria, which are pushed to a device from other devices in the hierarchy. Accordingly, the configuration of each device is dynamically updated as information is learned about the context in which the device is deployed, and as more advanced algorithms and configurations are developed.

  • Publication number: 20150275656
Abstract: A set of instructions stored on at least one non-transitory computer readable medium running on a computer system having at least one processor. The set of instructions extract outputs from sensors of a measurement while drilling system of a drilling rig; enable a transmitter to transmit a first data stream having at least one data series including drilling data, the first data stream having an interruptible portion encompassing at least a portion of the drilling data; detect a trigger event during transmission of the first data stream; and cease transmission of the first data stream.

  • Patent number: 9062537
Abstract: A set of instructions is stored on at least one computer readable medium running on a downhole computer system of a measurement while drilling (MWD) system. The set of instructions is used in extracting outputs from sensors and providing data streams having one or more data series (e.g., survey data, drilling data). The set of instructions further provide for transmitting the data series to a surface computer system and interrupting the data series based on one or more trigger events.

  • Publication number: 20140196136
Abstract: There is provided a system and method for providing access to a virtual object corresponding to a real object. There is provided a method comprising authenticating a user account for a networked application, confirming a validity of a user provided code, wherein the code is visible on the real object or on accompanying materials of the real object, and granting the user account access to the virtual object for use in the networked application in response to the confirming of the validity. As a result, users are enabled to enjoy interactions with real objects as well as corresponding virtual objects both in an offline video game context and in an online network application context.
