    Abstract: Disclosed are various embodiments for user interfaces for computer-based inventory management. In one embodiment, a first request for an electronic reservation for a contested inventory resource is received from a mobile device through a wireless channel. A suggested additional percentage over an established value of one or more items to be provided in fulfillment of the electronic reservation is determined, where the suggested additional percentage is determined based on data indicating a demand level associated with the contested inventory resource. Data encoding a first user interface that recommends the suggested additional percentage in order to create the electronic reservation and includes one or more graphical components to modify the suggested additional percentage is transmitted via the wireless channel. A second request to create the electronic reservation at a specified additional percentage over the established value is received from the mobile device through the wireless channel.

    Abstract: An inventory management system for administering matches between user requests and provider inventory and methods for manufacturing and using same. The inventory management system includes a concierge system for communicating with one or more prequalified providers and maintaining a user profile for a user. Upon receiving a user request, the concierge system can make intelligent provider recommendations based on the user profile and/or provide the request to at least one selected provider that evaluates the request by using a demand-side inventory system. If the selected provider accepts the request, the request is fulfilled in a personalized manner and accordance with the request terms. The concierge system handles payment arrangements; whereas, the provider and user rate the transaction.
