  • Publication number: 20200406159
Abstract: A method for generating dynamic displays on a game screen and player display screens for a live event performed on a stage in front of an audience and hosted by a host located on the stage. Each of the player display screens corresponds respectively to a player. The method includes displaying a playing phrase on the game screen. The playing phrase is generated from a winning phrase and includes blank spaces. The game screen is located in a fixed position with respect to the stage to be viewable by the players. For each round of a predetermined number of rounds, the method includes identifying, by one of the players, a first game to display on the game screen. The first game is displayed on a game selector in response to the player actuating the game selector. The method includes obtaining a first set of rules corresponding to the first game.

  • Publication number: 20150290552
Abstract: Novel games, aka, “Wordsmith Wars™”, playable by one or more participants are disclosed comprising individual game modules that have assigned value accruing to the module-winning player(s), as a unique “game platform.” Modules are selected preferably by a chance or random indicator mechanism, such as a chance wheel, cards, dice, spinning globe with indicia, balls that roll into indented platforms out of cages, tubes or boards with indicia, as in Bingo game apparatuses, et al. These modules are collectively arranged or sequenced into game segments before or during the game play with a predetermined content and duration. The modules are thusly unified into a unique, composite, single “Wordsmith Wars™” game, which further may have a common theme(s) associated within the game content modules. As well, letter(s) or word(s), and/or their correct word or phrase positions, in addition to points or money won, may also be won throughout play.

  • Patent number: 8690154
Abstract: A hand grip system is provided for manually gripping and spinning gaming wheels or rotatable gaming apparatus. A rotatable gaming wheel with a plurality of annularly arrayed stop position means may be affixed near an outer board diameter of the wheel. At least one sector identification member may be used to randomly select a sector of a game board base of the wheel. An annular graspable member may be located above at least one of the annularly arrayed stop position means so as not to inhibit function of the sector identification member as the rotatable gaming wheel is spun.

  • Patent number: 8596638
Abstract: Safe and novel hand grip systems for manually gripping and spinning gaming wheels or rotatable gaming apparatus are improved by including a lightweight, spoked-frame, rotating-rim gaming wheel that may comprise “snap-fitting” and/or modular electronic-plug-in game play wedge pieces. As well, the improvements also encompass inclusion of a novel optional stationary gaming wheel frame in conjunction with the above said rotating hand grip systems, that itself may include several embodiments and modifications.

  • Publication number: 20100327523
Abstract: Safe and novel hand grip systems for manually gripping and spinning gaming wheels or rotatable gaming apparatus are disclosed. Three preferred embodiments of the invention include an annular graspable member that may be rigidly suspended above, upon, or within the circumference of the gaming apparatus or wheel. The hand grip system is preferably attached to the spacer pins (or any uniform random “stop” positions means annularly arrayed upon the board, usually engaged by at least one, but potentially multiple spring-clicking flipper-indicators), and thus does not impede the function of the flipper-indicator (sector identification member). In a fourth lesser preferred embodiment the said hand grip system may alternately be attached directly to the rotatable gaming board, within the inside diameter of the spacer pins, though not the preferred means or location of attachment.
