  • Publication number: 20180353920
Abstract: A lab rack rotator includes a motor coupled to a shaft arranged to rotate in at least one direction in response to the motor. One or more mounts are located along the surface of the shaft and are configured to receive a lab sample rack which holds a plurality of lab samples contained in lab sample containers such as test tubes. Rotation of the shaft permits inversion of the plurality of lab samples, for instance whole blood samples. The lab rack rotator increases the number of lab samples that may be agitated in an automated process while decreasing the amount of time required for necessary pre-testing agitation of samples.

  • Publication number: 20050067352
Abstract: This article of manufacture uses solar heat and heat radiated from the earth to heat and thereby evaporate salt-water along a continuous section of the article. The invention consists of a single piece of extrudable pipe which is internally separated into two chambers. The lower chamber functions as a salt-water transport and evaporation chamber. The upper chamber condenses the evaporate by means of a naturally existing temperature differential, it then collects this condensate and delivers the fresh water for irrigation or consumption depending on the placement of holes in the pipe.
