  • Patent number: 9884637
Abstract: A barrel truck has a handle structure; a wheeled support, the wheels spaced apart such that the wheels can slide under a barrel when the barrel is pivoted; a cradling member pivotally coupled to the support for engaging the perimeter of the barrel but not extending past the center line of the barrel; and an upright structure having a gripping mechanism for gripping the top of the barrel adapted to have a force applied thereto to exert an upward force on the barrel to pivot the barrel off the ground causing the wheeled support to move forward and pivot with respect to the cradling member, allowing the wheels on the wheeled support to move underneath the barrel, with further force on the handle structure lifting the barrel off the ground balanced over the wheels.

  • Publication number: 20120141238
Abstract: A barrel truck comprising a handle, a wheeled support coupled to the handle, wheels of the support being spaced apart on the support to receive a barrel to be lifted therebetween, the handle being fixedly coupled to the wheeled support, a member coupled to the wheeled support for engaging with a rib of the barrel, and the member adapted to have a force applied thereto to exert an upward force on the rib of the barrel to lift the barrel off the ground in order to move the barrel on the wheeled support, the force being applied to the member by pivoting the handle with a vertical motion.

  • Patent number: 7039979
Abstract: Apparatus for maintaining pressure on a liquid pool cleaning device has an object for attachment to the liquid pool cleaning device, the object having first and second surfaces, the first surface generating a force due to liquid pressure on the first surface causing a downward force on the liquid pool cleaning device in a forward direction of the cleaning device and the second surface generating a force due to liquid pressure on the second surface causing a downward force on the liquid pool cleaning device in a rearward direction of the cleaning device.

  • Patent number: 5173181
Abstract: Apparatus for removing floating debris from the surface of a pool of liquid disposed in a container comprising a bracket adapted to be fastened adjacent a wall of the container and having an arm extending interiorly over the pool of liquid, the arm being adjustable horizontally and further comprising a vertically extending member directed perpendicularly with respect to the surface of the pool of liquid for receiving a strainer member, the strainer member comprising a net through which the liquid flows during circulation of the liquid. Preferably, the strainer member has a shaft receivable in the vertically extending member and the vertically extending member comprises a hollow cylinder having an interior diameter and at least two circumferentially disposed holes therein spaced apart, the shaft of the strainer member being receivable within the interior diameter of the hollow cylinder and having two spring loaded projections receivable in the holes in the cylinder for securing the strainer member thereto.
