    Abstract: The present invention is a handheld portable battery operated groomer used in the safe removal of the nails on dogs and cats. The present invention will use a grinding method in which to accomplish this. The present unit will have a small, one or two-speed motor, which will drive a concave grinding stone. This will safely remove the nail surface, either slowly at low speed 2000-2800 rpm or faster at higher speed 3000-4000 rpm.
