Abstract: Systems and methods for interactive travel planning and funds management according to various aspects of the present technology may comprise a planning coordination system accessible over a network that is configured to allow a user to plan and organize travel events. The system may also comprise a funds management system that provides the user with a method of saving for the planned travel event. The funds management system may also be configured to allow the user to pay for travel components relating to the planned travel event. The planning coordination system may provide the user with an estimated budget based on selected parameters relating to the planned travel event, and the funds management system may allow the user to save and allocate funds to pay for the travel event from a specifically created user savings account. The planning coordination system may also provide for collaborative planning by allowing the user to invite others to join a planned travel event.
