    Abstract: An ankle fusion nail apparatus and method includes a first, tibial component that includes a hole there through. The tibial component includes, among other things, a base. A second. talar component includes a hole there through, also, and, among other things, a base and a top. The tibial component is separate from the talar component. A third, central component is provided that is separate from the first tibial component and the second talar component. The central component is conformed to connect with the tibial base and the talar top such that the central component joins the tibial and talar components together and aligns them as the central component is connected with the tibial base and the talar top.
