  • Publication number: 20240271851
Abstract: A cooling container having a coolant chamber and a product chamber. Cooling gases from the coolant chamber circulate between the coolant chamber and the product chamber to retain the latter at a desired low temperature. In one embodiment the cooling gases flow through a radiator disposed in the product chamber. In another embodiment a heat exchanger is provided on a divider wall between the coolant chamber and the product chamber. When a temperature sensor detects that the temperature in the product chamber exceeds a temperature set point, a controller opens valves that allow cool gases in the coolant chamber to circulate through the radiator or across the heat exchanger to lower the temperature in the product chamber.

  • Publication number: 20240263865
Abstract: A refrigerated container having a thermo-electric cooling pump includes a lid for covering the top opening of a container to form a chamber, the lid having a thermo-electric element that includes a cold-side heat exchanger and a hot-side heat exchanger, the cold-side heat exchanger extending into a sealed cooling channel on the underside of the lid, the hot-side heat exchanger extending into an exhaust channel on the top-side of the lid, first and second fans for moving gases through the circulation and exhaust channels, a sensor disposed in the container, and a controller which activates the first and second fans when a temperature in the chamber is detected above a threshold, such that heat from warmed air in the chamber is transferred from the cold-side heat exchanger to the hot-side heat exchanger and expelled out of the exhaust from the container.

  • Publication number: 20050182598
Abstract: A method for billing customers over the Internet or other means of electronic communication between an access provider and a customer for use of services. The provider creates access to measurement data obtained by the customer for electronic data loggers which have been programmed for one time use by the manufacturers, distributor or agent for use by the customer or customers. A unique identity is embedded within the measurement device so that the provider can associate measurement data and/or billing information with the customer or end user. The provider then bills the transaction to either the user's account or those of designated account holders. This method for billing customers is applicable for all sensor based technologies to include temperatures, humidity, pressures, light, events, voltage, acceleration, shock, strain, flows and any other discipline where electronic sensors are embedded in devices programmed for one-time use and used in either remote locations or during transportation.
