  • Patent number: 11781405
Abstract: A method of deliquification of production wells includes placing an artificial lift tool in a gas wellbore, where the artificial lift tool includes a rack and multiple piezoelectric transducers. The rack includes multiple trays. Each piezoelectric transducer of the multiple piezoelectric transducers is positioned on a respective tray of the multiple trays. The method further includes providing, by a pump, a liquid on surfaces of the multiple piezoelectric transducers and providing, by a signal source, an electrical signal to the multiple piezoelectric transducers. The method also includes generating, by the multiple piezoelectric transducers, acoustic waves from the electrical signal, where at least some of the liquid provided to the multiple piezoelectric transducers is atomized by the acoustic waves.

  • Publication number: 20230258909
Abstract: This application uses an image detector to mitigate field curvature but without the need to curve the detector surface. Gradient-index (GRIN) media, which possesses spatially varying refractive index, is used as “cover piece” for planar detectors or internal images. Field curvature correction can be made at the detector or internal image using plane-parallel GRIN cover piece with a planar detector or an internal image. GRIN cover piece imparts a transversely varying image shift. In doing so, the number of elements in an optical system may be reduced since field curvature can be corrected at the detector, allowing for smaller and more lightweight systems.

  • Publication number: 20170183023
Abstract: A transporter has a chassis, a left wheel positioned at the bottom of the chassis, a right wheel positioned at the bottom of the chassis, a drive train with a left wheel motor to control the left wheel and a right wheel motor to control the right wheel, and a control system to control the left wheel motor and the right wheel motor to implement self-balancing propulsion of the transporter. The improvement is the utilization of a left primary pulley in a left pulley arm assembly forming a first belt assembly to traverse an obstacle and the utilization of a right primary pulley in a right pulley arm assembly forming a second belt assembly to traverse the obstacle.

  • Patent number: 6064791
Abstract: A fiber optic cable restoration apparatus preferably includes two weather-tight enclosures, connector panel with a plurality of connector interfaces for optically coupling two optical fibers received therein. Each connector interface includes a bare fiber adapters for receiving a bare optical fiber therein. The connector interfaces of each connector panel are connected across a connectorized MIC cable to form a communication bridge therebetween. Two cut ends of a cable can be repaired by inserting the individual fibers of one cut cable end into respective bare fiber connectors of one enclosure and inserting the individual fibers of the other cut cable end into the respective bare fiber adapters of the other enclosure. The apparatus is easier and faster to use and more cost efficient than present methods of repairing cables and eliminates the need for circuit rerouting operations altogether.
