Abstract: Provided herein are table-edge hangers having a hook for hanging personal items such as a purses, jackets, and handbags. A hook as provided may be user-customizable, to display various images, including such things as photographs, pictures, and drawings. A hook as provided also has a means for illumination of the main case of the hook, which can serve as a beacon to the user or to otherwise provide a useful level of illumination.
