Abstract: The present disclosure relates to various anchoring assemblies, systems, and methods for a catheter delivered device or otherwise implantable biomedical sensors. In one instance the anchoring systems of the present disclosure are designed to be used in connection with a biomedical sensor configured to be placed in the various locations within the anatomy of a patient including: a junction of a renal vein and an inferior vena cava, a junction of a jugular vein branch and a subclavian vein branch, a junction of a brachiocephalic vein branch and a superior vena cava, or a junction of an iliac vein branch and an inferior vena cava. In one embodiment, an biomedical sensor and anchoring system can be implanted in an organ of a patient or in an organ to be transplanted within a patient.

Abstract: A method line powering a remote access device or telephone from a centralized location that includes abstraction of the ancillary signaling functions to that central location. A method of receiving a request for a telephone call includes receiving a digital telephony packet and determining a ring signal in response to the received digital telephony packet. The method also includes generating a voltage signal in response to the determined ring signal and communicating the voltage signal over a twisted pair connection to a digital telephone. The communicated voltage signal is operable to power the digital telephone and generate a ring signal at the digital telephone. The digital telephone is operable to generate digital telephony packets representative of voice data.

Abstract: A method of visually differentiating data retrieved from a distributed database system includes receiving data corresponding to a request to run a query; determining a database on which to run the query; running the query on the appropriate database; generating and displaying a report containing a set of data obtained from the query; and providing a visual indicator on the displayed report to differentiate a data source from which the set of data was retrieved.

Abstract: A method of performing a query of a database system includes the steps of providing a query user with query attributes in the form of question and answer combinations, constructing a logical expression from the data and the Boolean operators selected by the user, executing a query of the database system using the logical expression targeting members with attribute combinations matching the logical expression, and assigning each answer from the question and answer combination a unique identification in the database system.

Abstract: Queries to an enterprise data system based on discrete groups of servers may display the sets of data satisfying a query as if the query results originated from a single data repository. Further, queries within the system may efficiently search through a large set of satisfying records while accounting for data latency or system performance.
