  • Patent number: 10107480
Abstract: A light fixture includes one or more light modules and a sensor module coupled to a housing of the light fixture. The sensor module includes an extension arm and a sensor unit that is rotatably coupled to one end of the extension arm. The other end of the extension arm that is opposite to the end coupled to the sensor unit is pivotably coupled to the housing of the light fixture to pivotably rotate the sensor module between a first position and a second position based on a mounting of the light fixture. Further, the sensor unit is adjustable independent of the extension arm.

  • Patent number: 8911116
Abstract: A light emitting diode (LED) floodlight is described herein. The LED floodlight can include a LED housing assembly coupled to a driver assembly. The LED housing can include a number of LEDs mounted on a front side of a LED housing and a number of heat sink protrusions extending from a back side of the LED housing. The driver assembly can include a driver mounted within a driver housing, where the front side of the driver housing couples to the end of the heat sink protrusions that extend from the back side of the LED housing. The LEDs may be coupled to a number of reflectors. The reflectors can include a reflector body having a top portion and a bottom portion. The top portion can form a shape that is an elongated version of the shape formed by the bottom portion.

  • Publication number: 20100208460
Abstract: A luminaire includes a housing, at least one core member coupled to the housing, at least one LED positioned on the core member, and at least one heat sink thermally coupled to the LEDs. The core member includes a first end, a second end, and a body extending from the first end to the second end. The body's outer surface includes one or more receiving surfaces spaced apart and operable to receive one or more LEDs. LEDs can be added, removed, or repositioned on the receiving surfaces to change the light distribution. The cooling system includes either an integral heat sink, an external heat sink, or both. The core member is designed to increase lighting efficiency by directing more light away from a direction opposite the intended area of illumination.
