Publication number: 20210068407Abstract: A food product gathering and dispensing system is disclosed. The food product is generally a flat disc shaped article dispensed onto a consumable strip of food product conveyer material. The food product is fed to single, or series related, spools that wind up the consumable conveyer material and food product into a removable roll or stack. The roll or stack is placed into a dispenser pack, optionally subject to further environmental treatment, and refrigeration. The pack is then installed within a refrigerated dispenser system where the food product and consumable material are collectively unwound and/or separated, as the food product is fed into a processing system, i.e., a cooking device. The consumable conveyer material is collected and separately discarded.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2020Publication date: March 11, 2021Inventors: Gregg A. MARTIN, Thomas IVY, André G. RICHARDS

Patent number: 8721221Abstract: A flood protection bag system includes a troughlike structure having longitudinally-extending sidewalls and a bottom wall connected therebetween, along with one or more internal walls, the internal walls serving to divide the troughlike structure into a plurality of bag chambers. The longitudinally-extending sidewalls are continuous and seamless between the ends of the troughlike structure, and the bag system can be made of a plastic such as polypropylene. In one embodiment, the bag system may be implemented in conjunction with other such bag system(s). Also, in one embodiment, a frame structure is employed to support the bag chamber(s) during filling thereof with sand or other filling material, in a manner whereby tension is applied to each of the corners of the given bag chamber being filled. Further, in one embodiment, the bag chambers are covered by way of a bag top that is openable or removable relative to the bag system.Type: GrantFiled: December 2, 2011Date of Patent: May 13, 2014Assignee: Premark Packaging LLCInventors: Edward John Cavenagh, Gregg Martin, Selamawit Tedesse Desta

Publication number: 20100327506Abstract: A window or door frame machining device comprises a work holder having a plurality of support rails and a plurality of clamp members supported along the rails for clamping frame members of an assembled perimeter frame onto the work holder. A machining head on a movable support arm is computer controlled by preset instructions arranged to position the clamp members along the respective support rails responsive to the preset instructions corresponding to a configuration of the perimeter frame. In this manner any surface of any frame member can be readily accessed by the machining head by relocating clamp members between different steps in the machining process and no repositioning of the frame is required so as to maintain the frame in a true square configuration while machining. A frame support on the support arm permits both machining and assisting in loading or unloading of the frame by the support arm.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 17, 2009Publication date: December 30, 2010Inventor: Gregg Martin

Publication number: 20100186778Abstract: An industrial vehicle wash system comprises a wash area receiving the vehicle and a separate control area receiving an operator. A plurality of wash modules are supported in the wash are to direct respective jets of wash fluid onto the vehicle. A controller varies orientation of the wash modules according to respective wash patterns. Cameras associated with the wash modules provide a visual display of the vehicle being washed to the operator in the control area. Using an operator input in the control area, the operator can interrupt the wash pattern of one wash module to provide additional washing to one area of the vehicle under manual operator control while the other wash modules continue to wash the vehicle according to the respective wash patterns thereof. The interrupted wash pattern can be resumed upon completion of the additional washing.Type: ApplicationFiled: January 30, 2009Publication date: July 29, 2010Inventor: Gregg Martin

Publication number: 20060283151Abstract: A packing method and system are disclosed which system includes a first platform having a product support surface for supporting a product and a second platform for supporting a box into which the product is to be packed. After a box is received on and secured to the second platform, the second platform is rotated so that the open top of the box faces the first platform and moved toward the first platform until the box substantially surrounds the product on the product support surface. The first and second platforms are then rotated simultaneously so that the product is transferred from the product support to the box, and the full box is discharged to a discharge conveyor.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 29, 2006Publication date: December 21, 2006Inventors: Kenneth Welborn, Gregg Martin, Steven Tomlin, Jimmy Meyer, Colin Hart

Patent number: 6141943Abstract: A loading head for loading food articles into packaging includes a transfer conveyor in operable communication with a source of articles to be loaded. The transfer conveyor communicates the articles from an upper receiving position to a lower loading position. A first drive drives the transfer conveyor at a variable speed. A second drive oscillates the transfer conveyor between a first position and a second position. A controller is in operable association with the first and second drives for varying the driving speed of the transfer conveyor as a function of the position of the transfer conveyor. An article holder is disposed at the loading position for receipt of a transferred article.Type: GrantFiled: September 21, 1998Date of Patent: November 7, 2000Assignee: F. R. Patent number: 5810150Abstract: A collator for a food product packaging system includes first and second laterally spaced side frame members. Each frame member has an upper portion and a lower portion. A plurality of interconnected flights form a continuous flight chain. At least some of the flights have a recess extending therealong for receipt of food product. At least three sprockets are rotatably mounted to each of the side frame members. The first and second sprockets are mounted proximate the lower portion of each frame member, and the third sprockets are mounted proximate the associated upper portions. First and second cooperating aligned guides are secured to each frame member and extends substantially between the first and third sprockets. Each guide has sequentially arranged first, second, and third portions. The flight chain is trained about the sprockets and cooperates with the guides so that rotation of the sprockets causes advancement of the flight chain.Type: GrantFiled: March 29, 1996Date of Patent: September 22, 1998Assignee: F.
