Abstract: A gate brace is provided which allows the top rail of a fence gate to be attached to the adjacent rail of a fence section or another gate section. The brace keeps the gate from twisting, making the gate stronger and more secure. The brace prevents animals from pushing through the bottom of the gate by twisting the gate, and keeps the gate from flexing due to wind and other forces.

Abstract: The present invention is a fluid conduit coupling assembly for coupling a first fluid conduit to a second fluid conduit. The fluid conduit coupling assembly comprises a first coupler and a second coupler. The first coupler is for connecting to the first fluid conduit and comprises a first housing and a first valve. The first valve comprises a first lever arm. The second coupler is for connecting to the second fluid conduit and comprises a second housing and a second valve. The second valve comprises a second lever arm. When a force is applied to couple together the couplers, at least a portion of said force is communicated to each lever arm, thereby causing each valve to pivot from a closed position to an open position. The first valve and first lever arm are contained within the first housing, and the second valve and second lever arm are contained within the second housing.

Abstract: A system (10) for measuring a diameter of a limbus of an eye (12). An image recorder (14) is at a known location apart from the eye and records an illuminated limbus image. An illumination source (16) at a known location relative to the image recorder (14) illuminates the limbus. A computer device (18) connected to the image recorder (14) determines the diameter of the limbus from the recorded illuminated limbus image.
