  • Patent number: 10803698
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention set forth systems, apparatuses and methods for implementation of multi-reel symbols from prior game results on gaming devices. Accordingly, a gaming device can be configured to receive a first game initiation signal and spin reels on the display to show a first game outcome. The gaming device then determines if the results of the first game outcome are associated with a multi-reel symbol trigger condition. When it is determined that the trigger condition is satisfied, a multi-reel symbol is formed from symbols associated with the triggering condition by locking the symbols together. When the game device receives a second game initiation signal, it determines a second game outcome using the locked multi-reel symbol and then displays the determined second game outcome.

  • Publication number: 20180130308
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses and methods for enhancing gaming payouts with interacting gaming grid events. In one embodiment, a gaming grid is populated with symbols, and a plurality of those symbols are changed to enhanced symbols that increase the payout capabilities. Depending on an interaction state of the enhanced symbols relative to one another on the grid, one or more of the enhanced symbols may be changed to further enhanced symbols in order to provide an even greater increase in payout capabilities. The interaction states may involve the proximity of the enhanced symbols relative to one another.

  • Publication number: 20180130287
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention set forth systems, apparatuses and methods for utilizing compound evaluation techniques in determining awards. Accordingly, a gaming device can be configured to separately and independently evaluate different predefined sections of a game grid and then combining the evaluations to determine a final game outcome and associated award. This compound evaluation technique can be used to provide unusual numbers of winning ways in a multiway game, or to combine multiway evaluations with payline evaluations, scatter pay evaluations, adjacency pays, and/or dynamic pays to generate unique games of chance.

  • Publication number: 20160086431
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention set forth systems, apparatuses and methods for generating mystery awards based on virtual game play in gaming devices. Accordingly, a gaming device can be configured to generate and present a mystery award option to a player based on virtual game play of the gaming device in a primary or bonus mode. The amount of the mystery award option may be generated within a dynamic range of values and correspond to an expected outcome value of a secondary play option. This mystery award option amount remains hidden from the player until a selection between options is made. As such, the player may select to play in a secondary play option or select the unknown mystery award option while receiving a substantially similar expected outcome value.

  • Publication number: 20070270204
Abstract: A processor controlled gaming device having a display device in communication with the processor. When the display device receives an input from the player, gaming device randomly generates an outcome, the display device displays an event having the outcome and the gaming device provides the player with a payout in association with the outcome and the selected input. The inputs have paytables that vary in range. One input has a large, risky payout range with big and small payouts. One input has a small, conservative payout range with intermediate payouts. Other inputs have ranges that fall in between the risky and conservative ranges. Each of the ranges has the same overall expected value, so that the gaming device does not favor the player's choice of a risky or conservative input.

  • Publication number: 20050227754
Abstract: A gaming device including a plurality of reels or cards having several symbols. The symbols include at least two complimentary symbols that form resultant symbols on related reels or cards. In one embodiment, the resultant symbol is similar to a symbol and acts as a substitute for other symbols on the reels or cards. In another embodiment, the resultant symbol transforms adjacent symbols into symbols or other symbols on the reels or cards. In a further embodiment, the resultant symbol transforms a predetermined or random number of symbols on the reels or cards into symbols or other symbols.

  • Publication number: 20050037829
Abstract: A gaming device having an improved award offer bonus scheme wherein the player may improve their award during the bonus round. The bonus game enables the player to select an award offer from a plurality of award offers. The gaming device enables the player to modify the selected award offer, creating a subsequent or modified award, with the idea of increasing the award offer to receive a greater or higher award during a bonus game.

  • Publication number: 20050020342
Abstract: A gaming device which provides a plurality of multi-component offers to a player and displays each offer to the player. Each multi-component offer includes a plurality of components having sub-components. The player can independently accept each component. Once a player accepts a component, the player receives a value based on the sub-components associated with that accepted component. The player continues to play the bonus game until the player has accepted all of the components in the offers or until there are no offers remaining. The gaming device then provides an award to the player based on the values of the accepted components of the offers.
