  • Patent number: 9808113
Abstract: A system and device that supplies an alternative to bottled water and other water based ready-to-drink (RTD) beverages. The invention offers a convenient, reliable, and cost effective Point of Use solution to the consumer's hydration and beverage needs which includes a single-serve beverage system that can produce unlimited chilled filtered water as well as single serve unique beverages through a capsule-based system. The invention can provide cold, hot, still (not sparkling), flavored, enhanced, ultra purified filtered waters and flavors. The capsules contain a powder or a liquid which is mixed into the filtered water to produce the beverage. The drinks can be “house formulas” or common mass market branded beverages licensed from the manufacturers. The system opens a beverage capsule, sprays mixing fluid into it, rotates it, and then sprays finishing fluid into it which causes the contents to empty into a drinking cup.

  • Patent number: 9573429
Abstract: An insert bar assembly for a hitch-rack carrier comprises a self-locating securement pin. The insert bar assembly can comprise an elongate hitch-attachment bar which in turn comprises a hitch-receiver insert portion located at an insertable end of the bar. The assembly can include a flexible securement pin or a rigid securement pin resiliently joined to the bar at a fixed distance from the engagement end of the pin. The assembly accommodates repetitive, same location positioning of the engagement end of the pin at a pin-tip facing surface on the bar in the pin-secured configuration of the insert bar assembly.

  • Patent number: 9333922
Abstract: A kayak holder configurable between an open, load-receiving configuration and a closed, stored configuration can include an elongate support arm and a base. The base can be releasably mountable upon a load bar of a carrying vehicle. The elongate support arm can be anchored to a hub having an axle rotatably coupled to the base. The base can comprise a keyway assembly that releasably receives a mating key assembly on the axle. A biasing member interposed longitudinally between the axle and the base configured to bias the at least one support arm toward a locked position. The at least one support arm is unidirectionally axially displaced relative to the base between the locked position and an unlocked position.

The elongate support arm can have a locked position where the key assembly is interference-engaged in the keyway assembly and an unlocked position where the key assembly axially displaced from the locked position out of interference-engagement with the keyway assembly. The key assembly can include a key adapted to be located in a keyway of the keyway assembly in the locked position, thereby blocking rotation of the arm relative to the base.
