  • Publication number: 20240157550
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for controlling a robot. One of the methods includes: receiving user input that specifies: (i) a real-time session with a robot having multiple parts, (ii) multiple actions, and (iii) at least one custom reaction that represents a condition under which a first action triggers a real-time change in behavior involving a second action; generating control parameters from the user input and providing the control parameters to a real-time robotics control layer; and executing, by the real-time robotics control layer, the control parameters including, at each tick of a real-time control cycle: executing one or more respective commands for each action, determining whether the condition of the first action is satisfied, and in response to determining that the condition of the first action is satisfied, triggering the real-time change in behavior involving the second action.

  • Publication number: 20130325517
Abstract: A system for providing insurance policies is disclosed herein that includes an insurance database storing user information for a group of users in an insurance program, including user identity data and user reputation data, and an insurance program server containing an insurance platform application communicating with the users in the insurance program through a social network web site and accessing user identity data through a social network database. The application provides insurance policies issued by an insurance carrier to the users covering a first insurance policy term, and uses risk reputation rating data about an individual user submitted by the individual user and scored by the insurance platform application for the purpose of removing selected users from the group for a second insurance policy coverage term. • Patent number: 5378251
Abstract: An abrasive article is presented which includes a backing having a front and back surface, and an abrasive coating bonded to the front surface of the backing. The abrasive coating comprises a homogeneous mixture of a plurality of abrasive particles, a binder and a grinding aid. The binder serves to bond the abrasive coating to the backing and the grinding aid comprises at least 1% by weight of the abrasive coating, but not more than 50% by weight. It is preferred that the abrasive coating consists essentially of a plurality of precisely shaped abrasive composites. Methods of making and using the abrasive articles are also presented.
