  • Publication number: 20210182730
Abstract: A non-causal dependency in a machine learning model can bias the performance of the machine learning model. Systems and methods for detecting non-causal dependencies in machine learning models are provided. According to an embodiment, a method includes generating a plurality of data samples from a particular data sample, the plurality of data samples including a modified data sample that differs from the particular data sample by non-causal data, the non-causal data having a non-causal relationship to the output of a machine learning model. The method also includes generating a plurality of results by inputting the plurality of data samples into the machine learning model. The method further includes determining, based on a comparison of the plurality of results, if the machine learning model is dependent on the non-causal data.

  • Patent number: 7906459
Abstract: Soluble and stable liquid compositions containing a plant growth regulator selected from the group consisting of cytokinin and a gibberellin, an acid solubilizer such as citric acid, tartaric acid or glycolic acid and a solvent; as well as methods for making and using the composition are disclosed. The compositions improve solubility, handling, stability, safety, as well as activity improvements such as improved plant growth, yield, fruit thinning or sizing and quality. The compositions are soluble and stable by adding an ethoxylated alkyl alcohol wherein the growth regulator is 6-benzyladenine (6-BA) or forchlorfenuron (CPPU) and the ethoxylated alcohol surfactant is C12-15 alkyl alcohol in propylene glycol. The compositions may also contain a cytokinin such as 6-benzyladenine (6-BA) or forchlorfenuron (CPPU) that is increased in solubility and activity and by synergistically combined with GA3 or GA4A7 as well as in storage stability by adding an antioxidant.

  • Publication number: 20100191609
Abstract: A system and method for providing digital media content involves use of custom URIs, disguised as URLs, provided as media enclosures in an RSS feed, for the purpose of redirecting requests for digital media content from a customer computer to an intermediate transaction server. The transaction server intercepts the custom URI containing customer, item, price and/or other relevant information to translate the file request into a transaction record and serve up the appropriate file, possibly from a remote merchant site, for the request and customer. When the transaction server receives a request for the custom URI, it parses it according to pre-defined rules and serves the appropriate file to the requester and records the transaction. This approach can be used to aggregate small transactions of digital content. Customers have a revolving account with the transaction server and can aggregate purchases from multiple merchants via RSS delivery up to preset limits.

  • Publication number: 20100037539
Abstract: An apparatus for concealing a portion of a post, having a first pair of concealment members sized and shaped to be coupled together to define a first layer that surrounds a first sub-portion of the post, and a second pair of concealment members sized and shaped to be coupled together to define a second layer that surrounds a second sub-portion of the post. The second pair of concealment members is sized and shaped to interlock with the first pair of concealment members so as to secure the first layer to the second layer in a stacked vertical relationship.
