  • Patent number: 11575259
Abstract: An ESD protection circuit has a driver transistor with a drain that is coupled to an I/O pad of an IC device and a source that is coupled to a first rail of a power supply in the IC device, and a diode that couples the I/O pad to the first rail and that is configured to be reverse-biased when a rated voltage is applied to the I/O pad. The rated voltage lies within a nominal operating range for voltage levels defined for the input/output pad. The ESD protection circuit has a gate pull transistor that couples a gate of the driver transistor to the I/O pad or the first rail. • Publication number: 20080255997
Abstract: A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer usable program code for exchanging process model data between process authoring tools in a process management system. A set of information requirements for exchanging the process model data between process authoring tools using different process model exchange formats within the process management system is identified. A definition of a common process model exchange format is extended to include a set of common objects using the set of information requirements to form a common process model exchange format. The set of common objects are supported between a source process authoring tool and a target process authoring tool in the process authoring tools. An output file is generated using the common process model exchange format. The common process model exchange format is compatible with a process model exchange format used by the target process authoring tool.

  • Patent number: 7037056
Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing a sheet like member is provided. The apparatus is typically used to surround the sidewalls of a multiplicity of articles stacked upon the bed of a flatbed trailer to assist in preventing pieces from falling off the articles onto the highway. The sheet member dispensing apparatus may include a frame with a pair of arms in pivotal engagement therewith. The pair of arms would typically include a pair of rollers, the rollers having a sheet like material entrained thereupon. The pair of arms may be pivoted to the use position and the flexible material dispensed from the roller. When a sufficient amount of material is dispensed from the roller, it is cut and then the ends are tied off to substantially enclose the sidewalls of the stacked articles.

  • Patent number: 5197664
Abstract: The present invention is a furnace control system responsive to a circulator fan motor fault condition. Upon detection of the fault, the control determines a first time period which is required to activate the temperature limit switch of the furnace by continuous operation of the gas burner and a second time period which is required for the plenum to dissipate sufficient heat to deactivate the temperature limit switch. After determining the first and second time periods, the furnace control operates the burners for a fraction of the first time period and then allows the heat exchangers to cool for the second time period until the circulator fan motor fault is corrected or the demand for heat ceases.

  • Patent number: 5186386
Abstract: The present invention discloses a two stage furnace control. The control includes a gas valve, an ignitor, a low pressure switch, a high pressure switch and a control unit for enabling the inducer fan, the circulator fan, the ignitor, and the gas valve. The gas valve is coupled in series with the low pressure switch, the high pressure switch, and the power source whereby the low and high pressure switches directly control supply of electric power to the gas valve.

  • Patent number: 5027789
Abstract: The present invention involves a two stage furnace and a method of controlling the fans. In the furnace, a high pressure switch indicates whether sufficient air is present to support high combustion. Normally the furnace operates at one of the combustion settings. The circulator fan operates at the high speed setting when the high pressure switch indicates that sufficient air is present for high combustion, and operates at the low speed setting when the high pressure switch indicates that insufficient air is present for high combustion.

  • Patent number: 4982721
Abstract: The present invention discloses a method of compensating for a restricted intake in a two stage furnace. The furnace includes low and high pressure switches for determining if sufficient air is present to support low and high combustion. When the furnace operates at high combustion, the state of the high pressure switch is monitored to determine if the high pressure switch has changed state for a predetermined amount of time such as 15 seconds. The inducer fan is switched to low when insufficient air for high combustion has been indicated for such a predetermined time. If the state of the low pressure switch indicates that insufficient air is available for low combustion, then the inducer is turned on high.

  • Patent number: 4976459
Abstract: The present invention involves a two stage furnace and a method of warming its heat exchanger. The furnace includes a gas valve with low and high combustion settings, and inducer and circulator fans with low and high speed settings. When a call for heat is present, the inducer fan and gas valve operate at high. After a heat on delay period, the circulator fan operates at low speed to provide an initial warm stream of air from the furnace.

  • Patent number: 4942613
Abstract: The present invention is a diagnosis and testing system for a temperature control system which includes a communication bus, a control processor, and a service thermostat. The communication bus is coupled to substantially all of the components of the system. The control processor initiates communication between components by sending a bus address over the bus. The control processor includes an address decoder for recognizing various bus address signals, including a normal thermostat bus address and a service thermostat bus address. The service thermostat has a switch, a processor, and a bus interface unit. The switch selects the operating mode of the service thermostat, e.g. either normal or service modes. The bus interface unit communicates over the bus for the service thermostat processor. The service thermostat processor operates the service thermostat and is adapted to communicate over the bus using a bus address according to the operating mode which is determined by the switch.

  • Patent number: 4268971
Abstract: A grain drying and conditioning apparatus having a housing with an outer pervious skin with impervious end walls, air inlet, grain inlet, grain outlet and air exhaust duct structures connected thereto has air pervious walls which are spaced within the structure for confining a column of grain to be dried. A blower and heater mechanism is also connected to the housing for causing heated air to be forced through a first zone of the column of grain in one direction to heat and extract moisture therefrom and simultaneously causing air for cooling the grain to be pulled through a second zone of the grain column in an opposite direction, or, by simple adjustments, to be pushed in the same direction as the flow of the heated air.
