  • Publication number: 20030138438
Abstract: Compositions and methods for the therapy and diagnosis of cancer, particularly lung cancer, are disclosed. Illustrative compositions comprise one or more lung tumor polypeptides, immunogenic portions thereof, polynucleotides that encode such polypeptides, antigen presenting cell that expresses such polypeptides, and T cells that are specific for cells expressing such polypeptides. The disclosed compositions are useful, for example, in the diagnosis, prevention and/or treatment of diseases, particularly lung cancer.
    Type: Application
    Filed: April 5, 2002
    Publication date: July 24, 2003
    Applicant: Corixa Corporation

  • Publication number: 20030095971
Abstract: Compositions and methods for the therapy of malignant diseases, such as leukemia and cancer, are disclosed. The compositions comprise one or more of a WT1 polynucleotide, a WT1 polypeptide, an antigen-presenting cell presenting a WT1 polypeptide, an antibody that specifically binds to a WT1 polypeptide; or a T cell that specifically reacts with a WT1 polypeptide. Such compositions may be used, for example, for the prevention and treatment of metastatic diseases.
    Type: Application
    Filed: October 30, 2001
    Publication date: May 22, 2003
    Applicant: Corixa Corporation

  • Publication number: 20020146828
Abstract: Disclosed is a viral vector conjugated to a microparticle, wherein the viral vector comprises a polynucleotide encoding a heterologous polypeptide. Conjugation of the viral vector to the microparticle results in a dramatic increase in the efficacy of the elicited immune response. Also disclosed is a method for delivering a polynucleotide to a cell comprising contacting the cell with a viral vector of the invention. In a preferred embodiment, the cell is an antigen-presenting cell, such as a dendritic cell. The invention further provides a vaccine comprising a viral vector of the invention. The invention thus provides a method for delivering a polynucleotide to a subject, a method of stimulating an immune response in a subject, a method of treating cancer in a subject, a method of inhibiting tumor growth in a subject, and a method of treating an infection in a subject.
