    Abstract: A holder for electronic shelf labels includes a channel having upper and lower ledges with upper and lower gripping flanges defining an engagement space into which a back of the electronic shelf label is mounted. A fin extends from a backplane of the channel, the fin having one side perpendicular to the backplane. The front of the upper and lower gripping flanges have inwardly-directed bevels. A breakaway guide is connected by a thinned portion to the backplane to engaging an edge of a mounting structure. The breakaway guide is removable following mounting of the channel.

Breathing is detected using radar signals, camera signals and/or microphone signals. The radar signals, camera signals and/or microphone signals are analyzed to determine if the subject person is moving, and if not moving if the person is breathing or not-breathing. An alarm is generated should the reflected radar signals, the camera signals and the microphone signals all simultaneously indicate no movement and no movement of the subject person in the defined area for a selected period of time.

The pocket (6) is arranged so that the tongue (5) can be inserted into the pocket (6) when the tongue is folded to obstruct the opening (4). With the tongue (5) folded to obstruct the opening (4) and inserted in the pocket (6), first and second strips (7, 16) of a second material are aligned with one another and can be squeezed together so that the closure is substantially flat.
