  • Patent number: 11891152
Abstract: A vehicle is powered and steered by a rider's arm. The vehicle may be a cycle or a tricycle Propulsion occurs in response to the rider pushing and pulling on the handlebar along a fore-and-aft direction. The propulsion mechanism resists or prevents the cycle from unintentionally rolling in reverse. Steering occurs in response to the rider pushing the handlebar to the right or left. The steering mechanism responds the same no matter where the propulsion system is in its range of motion and can provide approximately a 5-foot turning radius for a rider steering input, by moving the handlebar approximately 1 foot right or left of center steer, while maintaining front wheel alignment. A shifting mechanism provides multiple settings between lower gears for hills and higher gears for speed.

  • Patent number: 9476179
Abstract: A toolbar for a thumb assembly for a machine is disclosed. The toolbar includes a toolbar member, tooling joined to the toolbar member, a first toolbar plate and a second toolbar plate extending from opposite ends of the toolbar member. The first toolbar plate and the second toolbar plate each include a plate member connector joined to the toolbar member, a leaf arm, and a saddle extension. The leaf arm extends from the plate member connector. The saddle extension extends from the leaf arm proximal the plate member connector forming a post saddle for receiving a post of a thumb frame of the thumb assembly.

  • Patent number: 9388027
Abstract: A linkage arm for use with machine linkage systems is disclosed. The link may include a body having a first end opposite a second end with a first pin bore and a second pin bore disposed at the first and second ends respectively. The link may also include a front face and a rear face disposed on opposite sides of the body. The link may further include a guard connected to the front face. The guard may include a base plate, a first pad, and a first web connecting the first pad to the base plate. The first pad may form an upper leading surface oriented at about 25-35° relative to a virtual line drawn between centers of the first and second pin bores.
