  • Patent number: 11167236
Abstract: A carbon dioxide capture system, fluid contactor and method are disclosed. In embodiments, a gas-liquid contactor unit is disposed along a process fluid flow axis and includes a contactor network of flow diversion barriers with flow voids for movement of process fluids therebetween. A plurality of heat exchange channels are provided in the flow diversion barriers to transport a heat exchange fluid through the contactor network. A heat exchange feed channel is provided to deliver feed of the heat exchange fluid to the heat exchange channels at multiple feed locations spaced along the flow axis. At least one heat exchange bypass channel may extend beyond the multiple feed locations to deliver a portion of the feed of the heat exchange fluid to additional heat exchange channels located downstream from the multiple feed locations for the heat exchange channels.

  • Patent number: 11149978
Abstract: A window vent assembly (15) is usable with a swing out window assembly (20) to provide an outlet for a vent hose (12) of a portable air conditioner (10). The assembly includes a substantially rigid, transparent sheet (16) with a plurality of scored break lines (46, 48, 50, 52) which enable changing the size of the sheet to close a frame opening (22) of a window frame (18). A plurality of releasably engageable clips (62, 64) enable the sheet to be releasably held in closing relation with the frame opening. A sleeve (114) is releasably engageable with the vent hose to enable venting of the heat removed by the air conditioner from the window through a sheet opening (14) in the sheet.

  • Publication number: 20210287466
Abstract: The system for parcel transport and tracking that operates responsive to data bearing records includes a plurality of geographically spaced repositories. The exemplary repositories each include an interior area comprised of a plurality of enclosed compartment spaces. Access to each of the enclosed compartment spaces is controlled by a respective door which is in operative connection with a respective lock. Repositories are constructed to provide a secure enclosure for the parcels housed therein when exposed to a range of environmental and operating conditions. Central control circuitry in operative connection with the repositories is operative to control access to the compartment spaces and cause the compartments to be selectively accessible so that selected parcels may be placed therein or removed therefrom.

  • Patent number: 11071081
Abstract: Certain aspects and features of the present disclosure relate to a validation sub-system for determining whether access points in a telecommunication system provide suitable performance for a specified configuration of the telecommunication system. For example, a wireless receiver can simultaneous receive beacon signals at a common frequency from multiple access points. Each beacon signal has a data sequence that is different than the other beacon signals. A processing device can determine, based on the data sequences received by the wireless receiver, channel responses for channels between the access points and the wireless receiver. The processing device can output, based on the channel responses, an indicator that the access points are suitable for a specified configuration of a telecommunication system for providing wireless coverage using the access points.

  • Patent number: 11061864
Abstract: A system includes a plurality of clustered servers, a plurality of clients communicating with the plurality of clustered servers, and a grace database. Each of the plurality of clustered servers maintains a respective client recovery list. A client of the plurality of clients is configured to send a reclaim request to a server of the plurality of clustered servers. The grace database is configured to maintain an epoch value and a reclaim value. The epoch value indicates the current epoch, and the reclaim value indicates from which epoch reclaim is allowed. The server of the plurality of clustered servers is configured to maintain a client list and receive the reclaim request from the client. The client list indicates each client currently holding state on the server.

  • Patent number: 11012898
Abstract: A system and method of allowing a new device to join an existing network are disclosed. A configuration tool is used to communicate relevant information from the new network device to the gateway in the existing network using a secondary network protocol different from that used by the primary network. For example, in one embodiment, messages are exchanged between the configuration tool and the new device and between the configuration tool and the gateway using BLUETOOTH®. Once all of the pertinent information has been exchanged, the new device is able to securely join the primary network, which may be based on the IEEE802.15.4 standard.

  • Patent number: 10980341
Abstract: A beverage rack assembly is provided that is lightweight, easy to assemble and disassemble, and can be set in multiple orientations to accommodate various environments. The rack assembly includes two lattices that are made out of sticks coupled to each other at slots in the sticks. The lattices are joined together by risers that include two ends, each of the ends including four appendages shaped as triangular-prisms, and that attach to the two lattices at each of the stick couplings. Portions of the sticks that extend beyond the terminal couplings together form support structures on multiple sides of the rack that allow the rack to be set at various orientations. The rack is made out lightweight materials, such as wood or plastic, further contributing to the portability of the rack and the rack's components.

  • Patent number: 10819385
Abstract: A telecommunications system may include a distortion cancellation subsystem for use with a circulator device coupling an antenna to a transmit path and a receive path. The distortion cancellation subsystem may include a correction circuit and a cancellation circuit. In some aspects, the correction circuit may include a processing device or adaptive filter to correct imperfections in transmit signal samples generated by directional couplers. The correction circuit may also include a summing device to remove receive signal components from the transmit signal samples. The cancellation circuit may receive the output signal of the correction circuit via an adaptive filter.
