Publication number: 20200210775Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for automatically pre-processing data to generate a single view of the data that is suitable for machine learning and data analytics operations. Multiple data sets are joined together using one or more primary keys if raw data in the data sets have a same frequency. On the other hand, if raw data in the data sets do not have the same frequency, then for raw data in data sets having a different frequency than data in a user-specified base data set, the raw data is normalized and resampled. The normalized and resampled data in the data sets is further aggregated based on timestamps associated with the base data set, and the data sets are then joined to the base data set using one or more primary keys. The joined data sets can be stored and used to train machine learning models and/or for data analytics operations.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2019Publication date: July 2, 2020Inventors: Nikhil PATEL, John DICKSON, Dishita MEHTALIA, Sandeep RAMESH, Gregory BOHL

Publication number: 20200211553Abstract: One or more embodiments include a virtual personal assistant module executing on a virtual personal assistant system. The virtual personal assistant module obtains first sensor data from a first sensor included in a plurality of sensors. The virtual personal assistant module analyzes the first sensor data to generate a first result. The virtual personal assistant module obtains second sensor data from a second sensor included in the plurality of sensors. The virtual personal assistant module analyzes the second sensor data and the first result to generate a second result. The virtual personal assistant module outputs a natural language audio output to the user based on the second result.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 23, 2019Publication date: July 2, 2020Inventors: Gregory BOHL, Mengling HETTINGER, Prithvi KAMBHAMPATI, Behrouz SAGHAFI KHADEM, Nikhil PATEL

Patent number: 9163512Abstract: The bladeless turbine includes a case, three or more turbine discs disposed within the case. Each turbine disc has a center opening, and two or more of the turbine discs have a set of exhaust ports positioned annularly around the center opening. A drive shaft passes through the center openings of the turbine discs and is attached to the three or more turbine discs, wherein the drive shaft is positioned within the case along the centerline, free to rotate within the case, and extends through the case for connection to a generator. The one or more fluid/vapor inlets are attached to the main housing such that a fluid/vapor is directed at a specified angle onto the three or more turbine discs. The fluid/vapor outlet is aligned with the centerline. A set of exhaust holes proximate to and connected to the fluid/vapor outlet that are positioned annularly around the drive shaft.Type: GrantFiled: July 4, 2011Date of Patent: October 20, 2015Assignee: SOLAR LOGIC INCORPORATEDInventors: Gregory Bohl, Frank Germano, Martin Dorantes
