  • Patent number: 8589203
Abstract: A system is provided for project pipeline risk management. A distribution tool generates project resource distributions for associated organizations, wherein each of the project resource distributions comprises allocations of project resources to project phases and corresponds to one of multiple projects. The risk tool identifies risks, wherein each of the identified risks corresponds to one of the projects. The risk tool determines an initial risk exposure for each project based on an initial probability for each identified risk and an initial impact severity for each identified risk. The risk tool determines an updated risk exposure for each project based on an updated probability for each identified risk and an updated impact severity for each identified risk. The distribution tool generates updated project resource distributions based on the completed project information and a difference between the initial risk exposure and the updated risk exposure for each project.

  • Patent number: 6367758
Abstract: A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat bottom and a seat back supported for movement relative to the seat bottom such that seat position can be adjusted forwardly or rearwardly with respect to the vehicle. The seat assembly is mounted to a vehicle structure and includes a first track and a second track supported for movement relative to the first track with the seat bottom being supported on the second track for movement with the second track. A support member presents a bearing surface that rotatably engages a bearing surface on the second track. At least one adjustment link is used to interconnect the support member and the seat bottom. The adjustment link is mounted on the support member for rotation therewith to provide vertical seat adjustment. A torque tube engages the support member to provide rotational input to the adjustment link.

  • Patent number: 6357002
Abstract: BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) identification information is automatically extracted from raw BIOS data for a computer system from any of a plurality of vendors. The raw BIOS data is processed using a searching and parsing routine to reformat the raw BIOS data to a BIOS variable such that BIOS identification information is more easily accessible from the BIOS variable. The raw BIOS data is processed within a computer system from any of the plurality of vendors irrespective of the initial format of the raw BIOS data to generate the BIOS variable. In addition, the BIOS variable is searched for predetermined text strings corresponding to the plurality of possible vendors such that the brand name, the model name, the BIOS date, and/or the BIOS version may be determined for a computer system from any of the plurality of vendors.

  • Patent number: 6312037
Abstract: A vehicle seat mounting assembly includes a mounting pin rotatably retained in a support foot to removably retain a seat track assembly to a vehicle floor member. The support foot is located on the vehicle floor member and the mounting pin is moved downward through a slot in the vehicle floor member. The mounting pin is rotated within the support foot and released such that the biasing member moves the mounting pin upward into a receipt member. Another embodiment of the vehicle seat mounting assembly includes a pin having an engagement surface. The mounting pin is passed through the vehicle floor member an into a receipt member. To retain the mounting pin in the receipt member, a spring biased locking member engages the engagement surface of the mounting pin.

  • Patent number: 6264158
Abstract: A support structure for a vehicle seat assembly which allows the seat position to be adjusted forwardly or rearwardly with respect to the vehicle. The seat support structure is mounted to a vehicle structure and includes a first track, a second track, a torque tube and a brace member supported for movement relative to the first track with the seat bottom being supported on the second track for movement relative to the first track. A restraint bracket which is attached to the seat belt is adjacent the torque tube and second track without the necessity of fasteners. The restraint bracket mounting allows a force to be transfered to the associated torque tube, first track, and second track. The present invention further provides a method of seat assembly in which the torque tube is maintained under compression and the brace member under tension to provide a rigid, integral seat support structure.
