    Abstract: An air supportable structure for a swimming pool, including a buoyant cover having a floating position in which it lies flat on the pool surface, and a raised position in which it is inflated and raised above the pool. The cover includes a skirt which is submerged in the floating position of the cover by a ballast tube. The skirt is visible only on inflation of the cover, at which time the skirt is substantially completely out of the water.
