Abstract: A distributed service subsystem comprises one or more cabinets containing one or more computer systems, one or more administration consoles for controlling the computer systems in the cabinets, and a network interconnecting the administration consoles and the cabinets. Each of the cabinets includes a cabinet module interface controller (CMIC) coupled to and controlling one or more chassis management boards (CMBs). The CMBs are each adapted to communicate with one or more managed components in the cabinet through a component specific interface.

Abstract: A keyboard support having an adjustable keyboard shelf is provided. The keyboard support includes a base having a pair of upper and lower horizontal slots. A pair of bars connect the keyboard shelf to the slots. Inner ends of the bars slide within the slots to allow the shelf to be withdrawn from, or retracted into, the base. One of the slots includes an angled end portion allowing the bars to pivot with respect to the slots. As a consequence of the pivot action, the keyboard shelf is selectively raised or lowered. A rack and pinion mechanism is provided within the slots to limit jamming of the shelf as it is withdrawn from, or retracted into, the base. The invention provides a sturdy adjustable keyboard support inexpensively constructed of few moving parts.

Abstract: A flexible wire retainer for use in attaching a lid to an accompanying flower container while the container is being used to hold and display a flower arrangement. The wire retainer is formed into a special shape that includes a U-shaped portion that can be conveniently placed beneath and retained by a recess on the lid's underside. The retainer further includes a pair of integral shafts that can project through the container opening to engage and be supported by a conventional foam block located within the container.
