    Abstract: Aluminum organic thickeners have been developed for use as thickening agents for thermoset sheet molding compounds and bulk molding compounds. The role of the thickening agent is to control the viscosity of the molding compounds throughout the production processes. The thickeners include an aluminum chelate complex, 10% to 50% by weight of a polyester or polyester acrylate carrier resin, and 10% to 50% by weight of a diluent such as a petroleum distillate. A molding compound includes an aluminum chelate complex thickening agent, a thermosetting resin, reinforcing fibers or microspheres, a crosslinking initiator, and an inhibitor. A method of making a molding compound, such as SMC or BMC with the improved thickener is also provided.

    Abstract: Packaged modules for use in wireless devices are disclosed. A substrate supports integrated circuit die including at least a portion of a baseband system and a front end system, an oscillator assembly, and an antenna. The oscillator assembly includes an enclosure to enclose the oscillator and conductive pillars formed at least partially within a side of the enclosure to conduct signals between the top and bottom surfaces of the oscillator assembly. Components can be vertically integrated to save space and reduce trace length. Vertical integration provides an overhang volume that can include discrete components. Radio frequency shielding and ground planes within the substrate shield the front end system and antenna from radio frequency interference. Stacked filter assemblies include passive surface mount devices to filter radio frequency signals.

The investigate mode includes notifying a remote monitor and supplying the remote monitor with an audiovisual feed.     Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for reducing the effects of an impedance mismatch between a communications system and a shared communications medium. A communication system, such as a transceiver within a cable modem, switches between various operating modes including a transmit mode, a receive mode, and a standby mode. The standby mode may be used while the transceiver is in an idle state between modes, such as while changing an amplifier gain states in between transmissions. While transitioning between modes, the impedance presented by the communications system can temporarily fluctuate causing unwanted signal reflections to propagate out of the communications system and on to the shared medium. Circuitry within the communications system, such as transmission circuitry including an adjustable attenuator, may be placed into a hybrid attenuation-isolation mode during the transition causing the magnitude of any unwanted signal reflections to be attenuated and reducing the impact on the shared medium.

The multi-mode power amplifier circuit includes a stacked output stage including a transistor stack of two or more transistors.
