  • Publication number: 20180098650
Abstract: A composite plate for use at social gatherings and the like wherein the composite plate serves as a plate for food as well as a holder for an eating utensil, a napkin, and a beverage container, thereby enabling the user to hold all with one hand while leaving the other hand free to shake hands with other guests, and to use the eating utensil or napkin, or to drink a beverage. The composite plate has an upper surface, a lower surface, and an outer rim, and the composite plate includes an aperture passing between the upper surface and the lower surface. A collapsible beverage holder having a top and a bottom, wherein the top of the beverage holder is connected to a perimeter of the aperture in the plate, and wherein the collapsible beverage holder includes folds enabling the collapsible beverage holder to be collapsed such the bottom of the collapsible beverage holder becomes flush with the lower surface of the plate, thus enabling the lower surface of the plate to rest upon a flat surface.

  • Patent number: 9936081
Abstract: Information associated with a communication is gathered at a switching point during the routing process to determine subscriber metric information associated with an active service identifier. The information relates to the originator of the communication and the target. The information is compared to a provider database to determine a carrier originally associated with the active service identifier. The information is then compared to a porting database to determine if the active service identifier was ported, and if so, to which carrier the active service identifier was ported. A determination can then be made regarding which carrier is associated with the active service identifier. Various systems and methods may be used to determine a number of subscribers, a number of new subscribers, and a number of disconnected subscribers for a given carrier in a given market.

  • Publication number: 20180034928
Abstract: Evaluating web activity is disclosed. Initially, activity data for one or more resources on a network is received for a predetermined time period. The resources have been accessed by a plurality of client systems, and the activity data includes a unique identifier and a category of an accessing client system for each access to the one or more resources. Next, at least one persistent identifier of a client system within the activity data is identified. A subset of the activity data associated with the at least one persistent identifier is also identified. Based on the subset of the activity data, a total number of accesses to the one or more resources from the client system having the persistent identifier is determined. Finally, an estimated number of accesses to the one or more resources from the client system is determined if the persistent identifier persisted on the client system during the entire predetermined time period.

  • Publication number: 20180018600
Abstract: There is provided a method for providing pricing information about a potential migration of a network computing task. The method includes the step of providing a provider availability set, identifying a price qualified set for each cloud service provider, and displaying the information about each cloud service provider and its pricing via a user interface. The price qualified set includes each cloud service provider: (a) whose price for performing the task complies with a price acceptability criteria or (b) that has a respective price proposal associated therewith reflecting a price for engaging the cloud service provider to perform the task in lieu of the task being performed by the network.

  • Publication number: 20180006887
Abstract: There is provided a method for generating network optimizing information including the steps of identifying system devices that are comprised in a network, collecting metrics from the identified system devices, including collecting at least one metric relating to the operation, status, capability, limitations, expandability, scalability, or performance of the system devices, assessing the collected metrics according to a predetermined assessment protocol, generating a roster of metrics of interest, such metrics of interest being a group of the collected metrics that meet a selection criteria and not including other collected metrics that do not meet the selection criteria, and presenting each of the metrics of interest in a format suitable for a network operator to take corrective actions with regard to the identified non-compliant metrics or to capitalize on the identified optimization opportunities with respect to the network.

  • Publication number: 20170070562
Abstract: A method of staging a move group of applications of a network is provided and includes the step of developing a reference base of applications via monitoring traffic flow between devices of the network on which applications are executed or accessing information about such applications. The method further includes the step of classifying each such selected application as a member of one of the classification sub-sets with regard to applications of the reference application base. Additionally, the method includes the step of accessing information about the classification sub-sets of those respective applications executed on each of a target croup of devices to thereby form an application classification glossary associated with the device.

  • Publication number: 20160210232
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and computer program products for keeping multiple caches updated, or coherent, on multiple servers when the multiple caches contain independent copies of cached data. Example methods may include receiving a request to write data to a block of a first cache associated with a first server in a clustered server environment. The methods may also include identifying a second cache storing a copy of the block, where the second cache is associated with a second server in the clustered environment. The methods may further include transmitting a request to update the second cache with the received write data, and upon receiving a subsequent request to write subsequent data, identifying a third cache for invalidating based on access patterns of the blocks, where the third cache is associated with a third server in the clustered environment.
