  • Patent number: 6269542
Abstract: A multi-purpose tool assembly enables replaceable attachment of any one of a plurality of tools having the same or different function to a single tool handle assembly. The tool handle assembly is constructed from a U-shaped frame member supporting a pivotable plate which is operative for clamping the shank portion of a tool to the frame member. A plurality of tools may be packaged with a tool handle assembly in the nature of a kit.

  • Patent number: 5890293
Abstract: A cutting tool is constructed from a rigid, U-shaped frame member which supports a pivotable blade holder assembly. The blade holder assembly is operative for clamping a replaceable utility blade to the frame member by means of an easily engageable bolt. A retractable safety cover prevents accidental injury from contact with the cutting blade, while a removable sleeve defines a storage area in conjunction with the frame member for storing one or more replaceable cutting blades.

  • Patent number: 5507096
Abstract: A cutting tool for cutting an object flush against a surface from which it protrudes is disclosed. The cutting tool comprises a first jaw member which includes a blade having a cutting edge. A second jaw member is pivotally connected to the first jaw member and may include an anvil having a substantially planar surface with a first end substantially aligned with the cutting edge of the blade. The handle which may have first and second arms is connected to the first and second jaw members for facilitating relative movement of the cutting edge and the substantially planar surface between an open position at which the cutting edge is remote from the substantially planar surface and a closed position at which the cutting edge is adjacent to the first end of the substantially planar surface.

  • Patent number: 4398175
Abstract: An apparatus for automatically cancelling a turn signal, responsive to displacement of the center of gravity of a vehicle such as a motorcycle in moving into a turn. The apparatus includes means for signalling the turn, means for retaining the turn signalling means in turn signalling position or releasing the turn signalling means from turn signalling position, and means for controlling the turn signal retaining means responsive to displacement of the center of gravity of the vehicle in moving into the turn.
