  • Publication number: 20220417036
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for rotating keys in a trust store to be used by a group of peer devices for secure communications between the peers in the group. In some examples, a service, such as an identify authority service, may make a determination that a set of peers that individually trust at least one public key from a group of public keys satisfies a set of conditions. As a result of the determination, the service may update the plurality of public keys by at least removing at least one public key from the group of public keys and indicate the updated plurality of public keys to at least one of the peers in the group. The service may remove the at least one public key from the group upon determining that less than a threshold number of peers in the group use the at least one public key.

  • Patent number: 9755446
Abstract: A mobile charging table and a method of use are configured for ease of mobility and ease of service. The table has a tabletop, a base, a battery powered charging hub, and a battery compartment. The tabletop may be connected to the base by a hinge arrangement permitting tabletop movement between its first and second positions. Movement of the tabletop to its second position exposes an opening of the battery compartment for servicing a battery that supplies power to the charging hub. In the flipped down position, the tabletop extends substantially horizontally to overlie the opening in the battery compartment and to allow user(s) to use the tabletop as a workspace.

  • Patent number: 7010844
Abstract: A method for assembling components that are sealed hydraulically or pneumatically includes forming an outer component having an inner surface, a groove for holding a seal, the groove having an opening at the inner surface. A seal is fabricated in the form of a substantially circular ring having a scarf cut extending through the width and the thickness of the seal, and a second inner surface having an inside diameter. The seal is then placing over a mandrel having a diameter that is larger than the inside diameter of the second inner surface so that the seal is expanded by plastic deformation such that a gap is formed at the scarf cut. Then the seal is inserted in the groove while the seal is expanded.

  • Publication number: 20020178042
Abstract: A method and system for manufacturing resource planning (MRP) includes: selecting a processor definition, where the processor definition comprises a transfer map, where the transfer map indicates locations of values for one or more fields in a MRP document or in a database record of a MRP parts catalog; creating a plurality of maps from the transfer map; providing source data; and creating the MRP document by processing the source data according to the plurality of maps. The processor definition defines the data configuration for the MRP document or database record. The source data are then configured according to the plurality of maps to create the MRP document or database record. Since only the transfer map is stored as part of the processor definition, the source data may change without requiring changes to the processor definition and vice versa. This is more flexible and efficient than conventional method and systems.

  • Publication number: 20020077958
Abstract: The present invention provides an implementation of a supply-based management system in a network environment. The system includes a server, which includes a plurality of business process entity beans and a notification manager. The plurality of business process entity beams includes a request-for-quotation process entity bean, a quotation process entity bean, and a purchase order process entity bean. The system also includes a front-end, which includes: a user interface, a controller coupled to the user interface, and a business process router coupled to the controller. In a preferred embodiment, the front end architecture includes Java server pages, a controller, and a business process router. The server side architecture includes a plurality of business processes, which are implemented by a plurality of Enterprise JavaBeans, and a notification manager as a messaging daemon.

  • Patent number: 6160701
Abstract: A portable computer has the features and benefits of a conventional portable computer and in addition including the added features of two larger than normal speakers, an integral microphone, a infrared transceiver and a touchscreen. The computer, also, has ports for receiving components tailored for disabled personnel including switching ports. The portable computer has a housing with an upper assembly and a lower assembly. The lower assembly has a support rib projects upward from the base and extends from one of the side walls towards the center of the lower assembly. One of the side walls has a reinforcing bar extending from generally the support rib to the front wall. A battery opening is defined by the reinforcing bar, one of the side walls and the front wall. The lower assembly defines a quadruplet of quadrants. The computer has a battery for powering the computer located in a quadrant, the battery quadrant. A hard drive and the power board are in the quadrant adjacent the battery quadrant.
