Patent number: 11957408Abstract: A medical device that includes a handle, a sheath extending from the handle, and a tool within the sheath and movable relative to the sheath. The handle includes an inner body and an outer body disposed over the inner body. The outer body is movable relative to the inner body. The handle includes a first actuator secured to the tool. The first actuator has an actuated state permitting movement of the tool relative to the sheath in response to moving the outer body relative to the inner body. The handle includes a second actuator secured to the sheath. The second actuator has an actuated state permitting movement of the sheath relative to the tool in response to moving the second actuator relative to the outer body. An unactuated state of the first actuator and an unactuated state of the second actuator prevents movement of the tool relative to the sheath.Type: GrantFiled: December 29, 2020Date of Patent: April 16, 2024Assignee: BOSTON SCIENTIFIC MEDICAL DEVICE LIMITEDInventors: Katrina Hansen, John B. Publication number: 20160335655Abstract: Coupon and consumer identifiers are encoded directly or indirectly into coupon barcodes, and upon redemption of coupons, the coupon and consumer identifiers are used to identify fraudulent duplicate redemptions of coupons by consumers. Scores are created based on consumer redemption histories and used to represent a consumer's past history for over-redeeming electronic coupons (redeeming a coupon more than an authorized or allowed number of times). When a consumer is subsequently presented with an opportunity to receive another electronic coupon offer, the consumer's score can be checked in real-time in advance, and the offer can be tailored, adjusted, or even not presented at all to account for the consumer's past propensity to over-redeem coupons. A consumer's score can be checked in real-time upon presentation of a coupon and the coupon can be accepted or rejected based on the score.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 11, 2015Publication date: November 17, 2016Inventors: Gregory Hansen, Randall Malluk, Stephanie Martone

Patent number: 9147196Abstract: A system and method for delivering a restricted use in-store promotion to a consumer includes storing in an offer database a plurality of offer data items for use in creating an in-store promotion. The method further includes storing in an authorization database an authorization parameter and generating at a server a hyperlink including the authorization parameter. In response to receiving a request from a consumer device to present the in-store promotion, the server verifies that the consumer browser invoked the hyperlink containing the authorization parameter. The server also verifies the status of the authorization parameter. If the consumer browser invoked the hyperlink containing the authorization parameter and the status is active, the server dynamically generates the in-store promotion using at least one of the plurality of data items stored in the offer database. Once generated, the server transmits the in-store promotion to the consumer device.Type: GrantFiled: January 18, 2011Date of Patent: September 29, 2015Assignee: OnCard Marketing, Inc.Inventors: Gregory Hansen, Seth H. Patent number: 9117226Abstract: A system and method for delivering an authorized in-store promotion to a consumer includes storing in an offer database a plurality of offer data items for use in creating an in-store promotion. The method further includes storing in an authorization database an authorization parameter. In response to receiving a request from a consumer device to present the in-store promotion, the server uses the authorization parameter to verify that the request is authorized without requesting additional information from a consumer operating the consumer device. When the request is authorized, the server dynamically generates the in-store promotion using at least one of the plurality of data items stored in the offer database. Once generated, the server transmits the in-store promotion to the consumer device without any system-specific client software to be stored by the consumer device.Type: GrantFiled: January 17, 2011Date of Patent: August 25, 2015Assignee: OnCard Marketing, Inc.Inventors: Gregory Hansen, Seth H. Sarelson, Johnathan A. Treiber

Publication number: 20130117646Abstract: A system and method for delivering and activating a virtual gift card includes storing in a database at least one data item for use in creating a virtual gift card. A server creates a unique identifier for the virtual gift card and sends the unique identifier to the virtual gift card recipient. The unique identifier identifies a location for the recipient to retrieve the virtual gift card, but does not include the virtual gift card. In response to receiving a request from a recipient device to present the virtual gift card, the server generates the gift card, instructs a gift card processor to activate the gift card and transmits the virtual gift card to the recipient. The gift card may then be redeemed by the recipient at the corresponding merchant. The recipient thereby activates the gift card using a single action.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 8, 2011Publication date: May 9, 2013Applicant: REVTRAXInventors: Gregory Hansen, Seth H. Publication number: 20120143682Abstract: A system and method for delivering an in-store promotion to a consumer includes storing in a database a plurality of predetermined data fields for use in creating an in-store promotion. The method further includes a server receiving inputs for the plurality of predetermined data fields from a user advertiser creating the promotion. In response to receiving a request from a consumer device to present the in-store promotion, the server dynamically generates the in-store promotion using the inputs without requesting additional information from a consumer operating the consumer device. Once generated, the server transmits the in-store promotion to the consumer device without any system-specific client software to be stored by the consumer device.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 2, 2010Publication date: June 7, 2012Inventors: Gregory Hansen, Seth H. Publication number: 20120143690Abstract: A system and method for delivering a geographically restricted in-store promotion to a consumer includes storing in an offer database a plurality of offer data items for use in creating an in-store promotion and at least one participating store location. In response to receiving a request from a consumer device to present the in-store promotion, the server determines if the consumer device is within a predetermined geographic location of the participating store location without requesting additional information from a consumer operating the consumer device. If the consumer device is within the predetermined geographic location of the participating store location, the server dynamically generates the in-store promotion using at least one of the plurality of data items stored in the offer database. Once generated, the server transmits the in-store promotion to the consumer device.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 16, 2011Publication date: June 7, 2012Applicant: ONCARD MARKETING, INC.Inventors: Gregory Hansen, Seth H. Publication number: 20050109040Abstract: A merchandising cooler has a thermoelectric cooling module with a thermoelectric array. Direct current is supplied to the thermoelectric array, thereby producing a cold side and a hot side. The thermoelectric array is mounted in an insulated container so that either the cold side or the hot side is in thermal communication with the interior space of the container and the other side is in thermal communication with the ambient environment. Depending on the arrangement and current flow, the device can either cool or heat displayed merchandise.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2003Publication date: May 26, 2005Inventor: Gregory Hansen
