  • Publication number: 20240251710
Abstract: A method for operating an agricultural vehicle, the method including: generating an overdrive torque at a drive wheel motor of at least one ground drive system; transmitting the overdrive torque to the engine via a hydraulic ground drive circuit and a ground drive pump, to thereby bias the engine to operate at an increased rotation speed; measuring an engine rotation speed; comparing the engine rotation speed to a threshold value; and upon determining that the engine rotation speed satisfies the threshold value, operating the auxiliary hydraulic component of an auxiliary hydraulic system to generate a braking torque at a respective auxiliary pump, and transmitting each the braking torque to the engine to bias the engine to operate at a decreased rotation speed. An agricultural vehicle having a control system to perform the method is also provided.

  • Patent number: 10524481
Abstract: A carcass cleaning tool for removing dag from a suspended carcass has a body with at least one handle mounted to it for allowing an operator to hold the tool away from them. A driver is mounted in the body and rotates a head having a shaft extending therefrom. A plurality of arms extend from the shaft and have tines at distal ends, the tines adapted to engage the animal carcass to remove dag from the carcass hide. The head is oriented to permit movement of the arms and tines in front of the tool operator. A suspension point for hanging the body from an overhead support permits the operator to move the tool arms and tines toward and away from the carcass to remove the dag without damaging the carcass hide. The tool body never makes contact with the ground as a result of using the suspension point.

  • Publication number: 20060168499
Abstract: The invention is directed to verify software to determine the quality and accuracy of data recorded on an optical data storage disk by an optical disk drive. A verify software module receives error information from the optical disk drive indicative of errors associated with the recovered data. The verify software module then generates an indication of data integrity based on the error information and presents the indication to a user of the optical disk drive via an output device. The data integrity indication identifies whether or not the data was recorded correctly and predicts how long the data will last. The indication is especially useful for data storage applications where reliable data archive is vital. The verify software may be distributed as a CD-ROM included with a multi-disk package of optical disks. The verify software CD-ROM may include a tutorial to be presented to the user via the output device.
