Abstract: A hummingbird feeder configured to allow a large number of hummingbirds to feed simultaneously is provided. The hummingbird feeder includes a longitudinally extending generally horizontally arranged feeding reservoir. Feeding holes are spaced from one another along the exterior of the reservoir and at positions offset from the apex of the outer surface. The feeder can include removable perches. The feeder is preferably sized such that a hummingbird tongue can reach the lowermost surface of the reservoir so as to prevent pooling of liquid hummingbird feed. The feeder can include a transparent bottom portion to permit observation of the hummingbirds' tongues during feeding. The feeder can also include an auxiliary storage container designed for gravity feeding additional hummingbird feed into the horizontal reservoir.
