Abstract: An advent calendar including a first sheet with a full color customized image and a plurality of apertures. Each aperture is associated with a movable door and the door is fastened to a perimeter of the aperture with a hinge element. A second sheet, including a reduced-color version of the customized image and at least one customized indicia. The first and second sheets are registeringly aligned so that the each of the plurality of apertures fully eclipse one of the customized indicia, such that each customized indicia is fully visible through an aperture when the movable door associated with the aperture is in an open orientation.
