  • Patent number: 7765220
Abstract: Data relevance filtering may be provided. First data comprising a plurality of items may be received. Next, relevance information corresponding to the data may be received. The relevance information may comprise a relevance threshold. Then a filter based upon the received relevance information may foe created and the data may be queried using the created liter to create a result. The result may be limited by the relevance threshold and may include a subset of the plurality of ferns included in the data. Next, the result of the data query may be displayed. The result may include a first portion corresponding to the subset of the plurality of items, a second portion indicting a number of items in the plurality of items minus the number of items in the subset of the plurality of items, and a third portion corresponding to negative items within the plurality of items.

  • Publication number: 20080319822
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to facilitate employees in accurately specifying and weighting preferences in the form of a bid to be used in a preferential bidding system (“PBS”) at the time schedules are created and shifts are assigned and to facilitate creating shift trade requests after schedules are created and shifts are assigned. The systems and methods present a sequence of questions to determine relative importance and weighting of criteria specified as preferences for a schedule bid and then provide a read back explaining how PBS will interpret the criteria and weighting at schedule creation. Systems and methods are also provided to display visual representation of shifts. The visual representation includes a horizontal bar that serves as a timeline. The height and/or the color of segments of the bar are changed to depict active and inactive periods of work.

  • Publication number: 20080295007
Abstract: Data visualization may be provided. First, a data cell may be displayed. Then a request may be received to expand the data cell into a plurality of sub-cells. A sum of the data corresponding to the plurality of sub-cells may equal a value corresponding to the data cell. Next, a number of sub-cells in the plurality of sub-cells may be determined. Then, a graphical representation of data corresponding to the plurality of sub-cells may be displayed when the determined number of sub-cells in the plurality of sub-cells is greater than a predetermined value. The graphical representation may be displayed in place of the data cell. Next, information corresponding to the plurality of sub-cells may be displayed when a user selectable element hovers over the graphical representation.
