Abstract: Methods and systems for generating a display, for instance, on an integrated message board, the display having at least one physical information item and at least one electronic information item are provided. The physical information item may include, by way of example only, a tagged physical object, hand-written data, and/or data obtained through touch or voice recognition. Methods and systems for integrating physical information items and electronic information items in a single display location are also provided.

Abstract: Methods and systems for generating a gaming experience, e.g., an immersive gaming experience, in a networked environment are provided. Gaming experiences generated according to the methods provided herein transform a localized, networked environment into a “virtual game space”, thereby encouraging group and/or team play. Comprehensive assessments about nearby and/or common household devices, systems (e.g., lighting or sound systems), and/or other networked objects (e.g., clothing, furniture, fabric, etc.) are made and dynamically and intelligently woven into the fabric of the game itself. In this way, any networked device within the environment may be called upon to act as a game controller or input/output device, allowing game challenges to be expanded across a room, a home, and even a neighborhood. Methods for scaling a gaming experience uniquely to each environment, depending on the availability and capabilities of networked devices, are also provided.

The tracking system provides advertiser data for the advertisement and instructions for generating the advertisement to a synthesis system local to the viewer and the viewer's display system, which dynamically synthesizes the advertisement and provides it to the display.

Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide a communication network having a plurality of communication devices capable of transferring content wirelessly. The communication network comprises at least two communication devices and a mediator. The first communication device receives streaming content. The second communication device receives content different from the content streaming to the first communication device. In turn, the mediator determines whether the streaming content should take precedence over the content different from the content streaming on the first communication device.

According to embodiments of the invention in one regard, a user may access a playback engine to retrieve and dynamically mix, manage and integrate music content with environmental sensors and effects such as detection people or numbers or people, lighting effects and other sensory experience. Thus the tempo of a mixed music track may vary with the number or persons in a room or the time of day or night, or lighting effects may brighten or dim based on dynamic contrasts in the music or other content. According to further embodiments, the playback engine may permit a user to link or navigate to other community resources such as a Web site detailing an artist, album, movie or soundtrack, or a bulletin board for consumers with an interest in artists, actors or others.

Abstract: A system and method for distributing digital content over a computer network. A set of digital content is provided in a storage location that is accessible by the network. One or more physical tokens store data related to accessing the set of digital content. When a token is at a remote location, a request for the set of digital content to be presented at the remote location is received. In response to this request, presentation of the digital content is allowed at the remote location.

Abstract: A mediator having at least a ranking component, a listening component, and a control component, selectively controls a group of devices from a plurality of network devices in a network environment to reproduce multimedia content. The mediator correlates the multimedia content with the plurality of network devices. The listening component collects data about the network environment to enhance a user's experience with the multimedia content. The mediator utilizes the network environment data and the correlation of the multimedia content and the plurality of network devices to automatically select the group devices from the plurality of network devices that maximize a user's viewing or listening pleasure when reproducing the multimedia content on the group of devices.

Abstract: An improved trolling motor mount is the subject of this invention. The motor mount comprises a slotted plate (4), threaded cylinders (13) and shafts (9). The trolling motor (3) is mounted on the slotted plate (4), which is fastened by shafts (9) to the threaded cylinders (13). Threaded cylinders (13) are mounted within the hull material of the boat (1). In preferred form, the shaft (9) is biased by a spring (14) within the threaded cylinder (13) such that the heads (10) of the shafts (9) hold the plate (4) against the side of the boat (1). In another embodiment, the shaft (9) is threaded and is held within the threaded cylinder (13) by a nut (21).
