Abstract: A system, information handling system and method are disclosed for accommodating multiple devices in a single bay. A bracket comprises a pair of sidewalls adapted for slidable insertion in slots in a bay. An upper portion of the bracket comprises inner walls formed with slots and a lower portion formed with flanges. A tray formed with rails on exterior surfaces may be inserted in the slots in the inner walls of the bracket. A first SFF device or devices may be positioned in the tray and a second SFF device may be positioned in the flanges to install multiple SFF devices in the bay.

Abstract: A system for cooling a device while obscuring the device behind a bezel mounted to a front panel of a case of an information handling system. A bracket is configured for selective positioning in any of a plurality of locations and a plurality of orientations. The bracket is configured with a first plurality of openings formed in two or more arrays, the case comprises a second plurality of openings in an array and the bezel has a third plurality of openings. The openings are configured such that when the bracket is mounted in the case and a bezel is positioned on the case, the device is obscured without interfering with cooling the device.

Abstract: A device for managing cables for an information handling system may include a rigid but flexible body defining multiple cable retaining regions. Each of the multiple cable retaining regions may include a first portion shaped and sized to receive and retain a first type of cable having a first cross-sectional geometry, and a second portion shaped and sized to receive and retain a second type of cable having a second cross-sectional geometry different than the first cross-sectional geometry.

Abstract: A rail assembly having a stab-in inner rail member that inserts into and withdraws from an intermediate rail member supports an information handling system chassis disposed in a rack. Insertion of the inner rail member into the intermediate rail member is aided by a resting surface extending from the insertion end of the intermediate rail member. The inner rail member rests on and is aligned with the resting surface so that opposing pairs of rail assemblies can have their inner rail members aligned with their intermediate rail members during a stab-in assembly of a chassis into the rack.

Abstract: A rail assembly having a stab-in inner rail member that inserts into and withdraws from an intermediate rail member supports an information handling system chassis disposed in a rack. Abstract: A bracket for mounting to a rack is disclosed wherein the bracket includes a first surface for coupling to a rail of the rack and a second surface forming a protrusion element adapted to engage with a mounting slot defined by the rack. The protrusion element has a first end and a second end with a cross section of the second end being greater than that of the first end. The bracket may further include a latching mechanism having an elastic member, the latching mechanism adapted to secure the protrusion element within the mounting slot and wherein the latching mechanism is disposed on an external side of a post of the rack.
