    Abstract: A storm sewer inlet grate is provided, which is temporary and removable, to keep trash and debris and eroded soil out of a storm sewer. There are two parts: a rectangular box made of steel re-bars and steel mesh, and surrounding mesh bags filled with gravel and made of wire mesh. The device is placed in a gutter parallel to and against the street curb opening of the storm sewer drain. The mesh bags are easily removable one by one.
