    Abstract: An improved speaker's prompting podium (10) for providing a speaker with a visual display for prompting notes, speech text, or other textual information. A video display monitor (38) is supported by at least one vertical support member (12), (14), and (16) in such a manner as to be visible to a speaker using such a podium (10). Electronic data input and processors (46) send the textual information to the display monitor (38) for selective viewing by a person standing behind such a podium (10).
