  • Patent number: 11880930
Abstract: A system and method for content creation via interactive layers is provided. A mutable general object on which to build an artefact is stored. The mutable general object includes a plurality of n-dimensional data units capable of being rendered in a multi-dimensional display. An environment represented by the artefact is displayed. The artefact includes layers that each represent a different characteristic of the environment. Each layer includes a generator and layer parameters. A unique identifier is assigned to each layer. The identifiers for the layers of the artefact are composited and the composited identifiers are stored. Upon accessing the composited identifiers, the artefact is reconfigured for display using the generator and layer parameters from each of the layers.

  • Publication number: 20230396881
Abstract: A system and method for operating a depth sensor. A configuration operation can be performed by storing a first sequence of operation steps which define a first depth sensing mode of operation, and a second sequence of operation steps which define a second depth sensing mode of operation, in the memory. In response to a first request for depth measurements according to the first depth sensing mode of operation, the depth sensor can be operated in the first mode of operation by causing it to execute the first sequence of operation steps. In response to a second request for depth measurements according to the second depth sensing mode of operation, and without performing an additional configuration operation, the depth sensor can be operated in the second mode of operation by causing it to execute the second sequence of operation steps.

  • Patent number: 11823256
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating a virtual reality (VR) simulation of a retail store, which simulation is configured and displayed on an immersive VR display device that enables a user to experience the simulated retail store as if it were a physical retail store. The systems enable the user to arrange display cases and other interior store components, and to populate shelves, racks, and the like, with products to be sold in the retail store. A VR platform enables multiple users to synchronously view the VR simulation and make coordinated changes to develop an optimized configuration of the retail store. Marketing, sales, merchant, and other data may be collected, aggregated, and analyzed to identify purchase trends of certain products; the analyzed data may identify user shopping preferences, and the VR platform may generate a customized retail store including only products relevant to a user.
