  • Patent number: 11972178
Abstract: A system and methods to identify which signals are significant to an assessment of a complex machine system state in the presence of non-linearities and disjoint groupings of condition types. The system enables sub-grouping of signals corresponding to system sub-components or regions. Explanations of signal significance are derived to assist in causal analysis and operational feedback to the system is prescribed and implemented for the given condition and causality.

  • Publication number: 20210386382
Abstract: The disease management system can determine a measurement of one or more physiological parameters and can determine a disease event based on the one or more measurements. Furthermore, the disease management system can determine a pose of an individual using a pose sensor. Based on an identification of a disease event and a determination that the pose of the individual corresponds to a first pose, the disease management system can cause at least one of an audible, visual, or vibratory alarm. Based on an identification of a disease event and a determination that the pose of the individual does not correspond to the first pose, the disease management system can cause administration of a medication to the individual.

  • Publication number: 20210338159
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for proximity sensing in physiological sensors, and more specifically to using one or more proximity sensors located on or within a physiological sensor to determine the positioning of the physiological sensor on a patient measurement site. Accurate placement of a physiological sensor on the patient measurement site is a key factor in obtaining reliable measurement of physiological parameters of the patient. Proper alignment between a measurement site and a sensor optical assembly provides more accurate physiological measurement data. This alignment can be determined based on data from a proximity sensor or sensors placed on or within the physiological sensor.

  • Publication number: 20210330228
Abstract: A minimal action, invasive blood constituent device can streamline the process for the self-monitoring of blood-related tests by holding and facilitating the use of some or all of the tools for obtaining and testing a blood sample. The device can include a slider, that when pumped, causes the device to spring-load a lancet and eject a testing strip. The device can include a trigger that, when pressed, activates the lancet by unloading the spring. A strip-lancet apparatus can combine the roles of two disposable products—a testing strip and a lancing needle—into an apparatus that can be configured for piercing the testing site as well as receiving the blood sample. A testing strip apparatus can facilitate the use and/or disposal of testing strips. A lancet apparatus can facilitate the use and/or disposal of lancets.
