    Abstract: Acrylic and fiberglass fingernails are applied using an aid having a flexible fingernail support shield wrappable around the end of a human finger defining an aperture suitable to receive a fingernail. A substantially conical resilient pinching member defining an expandable slit is placed over the flexible support shield and the fingernail augmentation is applied over the shield.
