Abstract: Using a link generator server to generate picture links. Picture links are selectable pictures that are linked to a website, a document, or a specific element within a document or other data. A picture link, when selected, directs the user to the particular website that it references. In some embodiments, a picture link provides a picture preview of information provided on the website to which the link references. For example, a picture link may be a picture of the website's logo or other information provided on the website. Accordingly, a picture link provides a user with information regarding the website to which it references.
