    Abstract: The invention provides a law enforcement vehicle camera surveillance system including a nonvolatile memory in signal-communication with the camera to store the images as data files, and a transmitter to transmit the data files. The invention includes a wireless signal from the transmitter automatically when the vehicle subsystem is within a pre-selected distance from a base station subsystem and to transfer the data files into storage media at the base station. The invention can also comprise a microphone in signal-communication with the nonvolatile memory wherein audio data files correspond to the images is stored in the nonvolatile memory.
