  • Patent number: 11008211
Abstract: A system and method for distributing color-coded dilution ratios of cleaning concentrates at different dilution ratios and flow rates. The system mixes a concentrated cleaning composition with different quantities of water to produce diluted concentrates. A plurality of separate dyes or scented dyes are added to the diluted concentrates, with each color of dye correlating to a unique diluted concentrate. This provides a visual indication of the dilution ratio of the diluted concentrate. A plurality of metering devices selectively dispense the dyed diluted concentrates at different dilution ratios and at multiple flow rates. The metering devices are labeled with identification markings, indicating dilution ratios and flow rates. The dilution ratio and the flow rate are selected based on the type of cleaning that is required, and the type of dispensing means used for cleaning. A plurality of lines carry the concentrated cleaning composition, water, dyes, and dyed diluted concentrate.

  • Patent number: 9639889
Abstract: A method and a system of online shopping using a digital storefront. For example, a digital storefront having multiple touchscreen display surfaces presents a plurality of tiles to a user, where one or more tiles display images of items for sale and at least one hunch question which may be related to the environment. In further examples, a response is received from the user to one or more hunch questions, and items are recommended for the user and presented to the user in one or more updated tiles on a touchscreen display surface.

  • Publication number: 20110247385
Abstract: A method and apparatus is disclosed for refurbishing used metal banding of the type used to strap together bundles of items such as lumber. The method includes passing the used metal banding through a roller mill designed to guide and straighten the banding and to remove kinks formed where the banding previously was wrapped around corners or other protrusions of the bundle, recovering the straightened banding, and reusing the banding to strap other bundles of items. The apparatus includes a base containing an electric motor and a housing that encloses at least three rollers of the roller mill and special components that direct the banding in and out of the roller mill and expel it to be collected for reuse. The broad concept of the invention is the recovery, refurbishing, and reuse of used metal banding to band bundles of items for shipping.
