Abstract: There is provided a bag cutting and clamping assembly. The assembly includes a reciprocating blade. The assembly includes a pair of jaw members pivotally coupled together at first ends thereof and selectively couple together at second ends thereof. One of the jaw members forms a channel via which the reciprocating blade extends for selectively cutting a portion of the bag. The jaw members include a clamping mechanism for selectively clamping the bag and which is axially spaced-apart from the channel. There is also provided a bag cutting and clamping assembly according to another aspect. The assembly includes a bag cutter with a handle end portion reciprocatingly coupled to a first said jaw member, a tongue end portion slidably received within an elongate groove of a second said jaw member, and one or more blades between the handle end portion thereof and the tongue end portion thereof.

Abstract: An improved bag clamp comprises a first jaw member and a second jaw member. The first jaw member has an opening in a clamping surface thereof and there is a blade reciprocatingly movable along the second jaw member. A hinge couples the first jaw member and the second jaw member. The clamp is moveable between an open configuration in which the first jaw member and second jaw member are angularly spaced and a closed configuration in which the blade is received by the opening in the first jaw member and the blade is moveable along the second jaw member.

Abstract: A combination sealing and cutting assembly for a bag comprises a first sealing strip and a second sealing strip. The first sealing strip and second sealing strip are connected at their corresponding ends. A slider block is movable along the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip. Movement of the slider block in a first direction brings the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip into sealing engagement with one another while movement of the slider block in a second direction releases the first sealing strip and the second sealing from said sealing engagement. A cutting mechanism is mounted on the slider block and moves with the slider block along the first sealing strip and the second sealing strip.
